For weddings with peace of mind, tis is the perfect venue for weddings and celebrations with the most exceptional surroundings. Tawharanui Lodge takes great pride in presenting excellent service, food and ambiance. We offer venue hire, reception, canapés, set menu, linen, table flowers, fairy light curtains, tea lights candles, staff, everything is taken care of for your perfect day. We spend considerable time to take your own ideas and thoughts to help you plan the perfect wedding day. We are happy to vary options to suit your preferences. We can cater for the smaller wedding from 10 to 60, or we can cater to larger guest numbers by providing the marquee on the lawn for up to 130 guests.

This premium package is per person, the price includes: venue hire, exclusive use of Tawharanui Lodge for the entire wedding from midday on the day of the wedding. Restaurant and table flowers are coordinated with your individual wedding colours. All service, waiting staff and bar staff. Consultation meetings as required to ensure all is perfect for your wedding.

Included  you can have your ceremony onsite including: rehearsal, registry table, archway decorated, covered chairs with a selection of bows. Canapé selection on arrival or after the ceremony. A delightful selection of chef’s creations to tempt the most discerning palette.

Bubbles: Louis Pedrier, wine selection, Grey Rock Pinot Nior, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Merlot. Plus Imprint  Shiraz, Cabernet merlot. We are happy to upgrade or incorporate your wine preference to your special requirements

Beer selection Heineken Steinlager range, Speight’s gold, cider and old dark, Macs range, Stella  Artois, Becks, Corona and any special requests we will be happy to provide

For an extra $12.50pp we can add a spirit selection of the following

House pour: Whiskey, gin, bourbon, vodka, Bacardi, Coruba, and brandy

Conditions for beverage service :

We do not serve intoxicated or underage drinkers at any time, according to The Host Responsibility Laws. After the drink package has finished you may opt for a tab or cash bar. The bar closes at 11.30 according to our licence

Tawharanui Lodge has luxury accommodation on site with beautifully appointed rooms for family and friends to stay also with other plenty of accommodation close by should it be required

With extended check out time 11am the following day


The Lodge rooms are king or can be changed to share twin there are 6 rooms all with ensuites in the Lodge

Two stunning villa rooms on the estuary with the far one the perfect room for the bride to get ready during the day then the honeymoon suite later

Breakfast can be served the following day as a wonderful way to farewell your guests

This can be served starting around 9- 10 am

Friends and family are welcome to come back if not staying in the accommodation to join you for breakfast

if you prefer to have the entire estate with all eight rooms accommodating 16 guests for one night this is discounted to $2400.00 including breakfast. The 8th bedroom room could also be used as a powder room and extra toilet for groups over 80 guests

Confirmation on receipt of a deposit of $1500.00 is required for the wedding reception

This will be deducted from the total of the full account

Numbers would need to be confirmed a minimum of 21 days prior, along with full payment for the package
